Team Standings
Week 4 of the North American Corporate Chess League’s Season 8 is in the books, with Symetra (37.5 points) maintaining a solid lead over defending champions Capital One – A (35), Deloitte (34.5), Google – A (34), IBM (34), and many other teams in the team standings. The Symetra team is off to a great four weeks in the NACCL, led by Grandmasters Andrey Stukopin and Vladimir Belous, and International Masters Irakli Beradze and Yannick Kambrath. The top four scores are totaled to form the team score of 37.5 points, but with just a 2.5 point lead ahead of many strong teams, the lead is certainly not insurmountable.
Individual Standings
In the individual standings, GMs Stukopin (11) and Belous (10) points share the top spots with Cristhian Ortiz (10) of Deloitte. They are followed by IM Ritvars Reimanis (Google – A) and Blaine Mitchelle (Deloitte) at 9.5 points, and a cadre of players at 9 points.
